During manufacturing, Players cues are turned and dried seven times to prevent warping. The wood is also treated with Nelsonite, a patented stabilizer that protects it from atmospheric changes. A proprietary epoxy finish is then applied to seal the cue and further protect the wood from moisture and warping.
