| HAVE YOU READ "LAST CHANCE"? It's a novel by Mose Duane.
It's available on Kindle's e-books. Or the paperback version on Amazon.com and here. Mayhem pursues JC, an aging and washed-up pool player, who steals cash from an unprofessional, sexually deviant, hit man named Black Berry. Sadly, the money belongs to Juan Hernandez and the Mexican Cartel, and they want it back. With Black Berry hot on their heels, JC and his thirteen-year-old pool playing prodigy son Kid head for the small town of Upland, Arizona. Back with family and friends, JC soon, but maybe too late in his life, realizes that the important things in life are exactly that: family and friends. The stakes and outcome of a nine-ball game in the back room of a run down saloon called the Last Chance turns the town into a circus, and brings JC full circle to where it all began for him. This is a wonderful "little" read for several reasons. First of all, this is a great book for a weekend read. It is not long and drawn out, taking over your entire life when all you want is to just relax and read a little. This book is for both male and females, so BOTH you AND your spouse will enjoy reading Last Chance. The characters are so believable and the circular plot will completely delight you, making you feel good when you have finished. And finally, it is one of those books that you just can't put down so I must add a warning:
WARNING: ONCE YOU BEGIN READING "LAST CHANCE", YOU WILL BE TOTALLY ENGROSSED IN THE CHARACTERS AND PLOT SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE TIME TO ENJOY THIS TREASURE TO IT'S FULLEST!
This is my first read from this author and I look forward to the next book from Mose Duane! (I went to his Facebook page and "liked" him in hopes of keeping informed on his future releases! Please Mr. Duane if you read this, let us know what is in the works for the NEXT one!!!!!). -- Crop-a-roo.com girl
